COMPOSITION:

Ketoconazole    2   % w/v 

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Ketocare Shampoo is an antifungal medication. It kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection.

INDICATIONS:

Dandruff 

Flaking  

Scaling

Itching 

Inflammation due to Dandruff   

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

Ketoconazole 2% w/w shampoo is not contraindicated for pregnancy or lactation, but caution should be exercised. 

SIDE EFFECTS:

Dryness, Hair discoloration, Abnormal hair texture, Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain

Increased liver enzymes, Application site redness, Itching,Diarrhea, Abnormal liver function tests

Adrenal insufficiency, Application site burning.

PRECAUTIONS & WARNING

It should not be used during pregnancy unless considered necessary by your doctor. Do not use without consulting your doctor. Use of Ketocare Shampoo by the mother poses little or no risk to the breastfed infant. 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Use once daily for 3 days for single treatment or as directed. 

STORAGE: Store at a temperature below 30°C.
