COMPOSITION:

Amoxycillin     125 mg

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Amoxycillin is an antibiotic.

It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. By doing so, this medicine kills the infection-causing bacteria and prevents the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.

INDICATIONS:

Infection of Ear/Nose/Throat     

Genito Urinary Tract Infection   

Skin & Soft Tissue Infections    

Lower Respiratory Tract Infection                                            

Pneumonia          

Peptic Ulcer Disease          

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

Amoxicillin is contraindicated in patients with a known serious hypersensitivity reaction (i.e., anaphylaxis) to other beta-lactams. Patients with allergies or atopic conditions including asthma, eczema, hives (urticaria), or hay fever may have a greater risk for hypersensitivity reactions to penicillins.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Allergy, Rash, Vomiting, Allergic Reaction, Stomach Pain, Headache, Weakness, Nausea, Vomiting & Diarrhea.

PRECAUTIONS & WARNING

Call your doctor right away if child have a skin rash, itching, shortness of breath, trouble with breathing, trouble with swallowing, or any swelling of your hands, face, mouth, or throat after you or your child receive this medicine. Amoxicillin may cause diarrhea, and in some cases it can be severe.

DOSAGE:

20-40 mg/kg/day or as directed by the Physician.

STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry & dark place, protect from light at temperature not exceeding 25℃.
